Field of Gold

A unique and beautiful and richly textural piece of wall art inspired by the colours of a cornfield in a colour palette of rustic gold and avocado green.  Handmade with soft twisted cotton cords, this chunky and intricate piece is made up of individual long sections of macrame each graduating in length and overknotted in alternating sections to produce a chessboard pattern of texture and pattern.  The piece features golden yellow mohair wool which has been knotted into loops and a graduating fringe cut on the bias and detailed with knotting in mohair fibre.  This substantial piece is suspended from a natural wood dowel.
